New website for Guildford Cricket Club

Today saw the launch of a new website for Guildford Cricket Club.

The site, which can be found at http://guildfordcc.com has been built in conjunction with Engage Marketing Services, our graphic design partner.

Guildford Cricket Club is one of the largest, and most successful cricket clubs in Surrey, being a founder member of the Surrey Championship League with a 1st XI playing in the Premier Division. The clubs also fields Academy (U-21) and Development (U-18) teams in the Surrey Trust League, while the Ladies 1st XI plays in the Championship Division of the Women's Southern League. In addition, the club runs a vast programme of junior cricket - ages 7-17.

The website is built on the bespoke content management system developed by Web Preference, and offers modules for news and events. An e-commerce application has also been built and is in testing prior to launch.

It is hoped that the new site will assist the club in growing its membership and support, and to garner new sponsorship opportunities for continued funding and a healthy future.
